Our History
TCI Manufacturing & Equipment Sales, Inc. (TCI) in Walnut, IL was formed in January of 2000. President Mike Maynard and Richard “Dick” Nelson started the company confident in their experience and knowledge of the aggregate industry.
Mike and Dick began working together at Production Engineered Products (PEP) in 1984 and grew that manufacturing company to a well known name in the industry for their patented Vari-Vibe line of high frequency screens. In 1997 PEP was sold to Astec Industries and the company moved to Sterling, IL where Mike served as President for 3 years. He then left the company in 1999. The rest is history as Mike and Dick came back to Walnut, IL and started TCI. Years of expertise came with these two along with others that joined the TCI team. The sales, engineering, managerial and fabricating departments attracted new employees that brought over 100 years of experience to the Company.
Our main focus began with conveyors. That product line has expanded along with our line of high frequency screens, portable and stationary screening plants and structures, vibratory feeders, bins/hoppers and custom fabrication. We also offer a complete line of replacement and wear parts. Thanks to our loyal customers TCI has grown over the years. In 2008 we completed our new 26,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility and incorporated equipment in that facility to work more efficiently and safely. A complete safety program was implemented in 2007, with a full-time safety coordinator on staff along with a hired safety consultant.
